La Spartanière — Swiss OCR Team

Ordinary People.
Extraordinary Things.

La Spartanière is a Swiss obstacle course racing team bringing together ambitious people who prove that extraordinary achievements are built through consistency, friendship and a shared passion for pushing beyond what once seemed possible.

Different lives. Shared ambition.

Who We Are

More Than a Team

La Spartanière was born from a simple idea: sport is better when it's shared.

We're athletes from different backgrounds, professions and stages of life. Some are parents, others entrepreneurs, engineers, healthcare professionals or students. What unites us isn't where we come from, but how we approach the sport.

We believe progress comes from consistency, humility and surrounding yourself with people who push you to become better.

Most of us train separately. But when race weekend arrives, we come together to support one another, share every success and every setback, and create memories that last long after the finish line.

  • Individual training
  • Shared race weekends
  • Consistency and humility

Train With Us

Every Tuesday Evening

If you're curious about obstacle course racing — or already hooked and looking for company — our weekly training is the easiest way in. No trial, no pressure: come along, see how it feels, and meet the people behind the team.

We meet every Tuesday evening in Val de Bagnes for a shared session — strength, trail or obstacle work, depending on the season. Get in touch and we'll point you to the time and place.

The Team

Different Paths. Shared Ambition.

Every athlete has a different story. Different goals. Different strengths. Different lives outside of sport. Together, those individual journeys become something bigger.

Where You'll Find Us Next

Race weekends are where the team comes together. Here's where to find us this season — come cheer, race alongside us, or just come say hello.

Our Philosophy

Why We Do It

We love competition. But competition isn't the reason we keep coming back.

We love the early mornings, the muddy trails, the long drives across Europe, the shared meals after a race, and the conversations that begin with "What if…?"

Extraordinary achievements don't require extraordinary lives.

They come from ordinary people who are willing to show up, stay consistent and enjoy the journey together.

Life Beyond the Finish Line

The Team Doesn't Stop at the Finish Line

Obstacle course racing is what brings us together. Friendship is what keeps us together.

Throughout the year you'll also find us organising community runs, volunteering at races, supporting newcomers and proudly representing the sport wherever we go.

Not because we have to. Because we genuinely enjoy being part of this community.

Our Partners

Partnerships Built on Shared Values

We don't see partnerships as logos on a jersey. We see them as relationships. We choose to work with brands whose products we genuinely use, whose people we enjoy working with, and whose values align with ours.

In return, we proudly represent them on race weekends, share authentic experiences, create engaging content and provide honest feedback. The best partnerships are the ones that grow over time.
